Intersession hours on Thursday/Holiday Announcement

Greeting University Community,

This communication is to let you know that the UVI Libraries will be closing at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 25, 2009 in observance of the intersession day and will resume regular hours on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 8:00 am.

Students will be able to utilize designated labs between the hours of 6:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight on each campus by making a request through the Security Department on their respective campus. Students must show their UVI ID and sign in with Security to gain access to the following labs:

St. Thomas: BA 204E Lab
St. Croix: NWW 120 Lab

Students may also access online library resources at anytime by going to http://library.uvi.edu.


VI Emancipation Day and Independence Day Holidays

The Libraries on both campuses will be closed, Thursday, July 2, 2009 thru Saturday, July 4, 2009 in observance of the VI Emancipation Day and Independence Day Holidays. The Libraries will resume regular hours on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.

In an effort to maintain technology services to students during the Holiday, both campuses will observe the following schedule for student lab access.

Lab Access:

Students will be able to utilize designated labs between the hours of 8:30 AM to 12:00 Midnight on each campus by making a request through the Security Department on their respective campus. Students must show their UVI ID and sign in with Security to gain access to the following labs:

St. Thomas: BA 204E Lab
St. Croix: NWW 120 Lab

Students may also access online library resources at anytime by going to http://library.uvi.edu.

The Help Desk voice mail at ext.1466 and email will be monitored during the holiday. If a technology emergency occurs please leave us a message and an ITS technician will follow up. If you have any questions, please contact us at the Help Desk.
