Technology Update:

UVI Libraries and St. John Academic Center will be open on Tuesday, July 5, 2011
Emancipation- Day Holiday
New Library Hours


Greetings University Community,
This communication is to let you know that the UVI Libraries and St. John Academic Center will be closed in observance of Emancipation Day Holiday Monday July 4, 2011.

Please note the schedule change, the UVI Libraries and St. John Academic Center will be open on Tuesday, July 5, 2011.
St. Thomas Library from 8:00 AM to 10:00PM
St. Croix Library from 8:00 AM to 10:00PM
St. John Academic Center 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

In an effort to maintain technology services to students during the Emancipation Day Holiday, both campuses will observe the following schedule for student lab access during the holiday period.

Lab Access:
On St. Croix campus students will be able to utilize the NWW 120 Lab. Students may request access through the Security Department. Students must present their UVI ID and sign in order to gain access.

On St. Thomas campus the 24/7 library lab is available for students use during the holiday. Students can access the lab by using their ID key cards.
Students may also access online library resources at any time by going to http://library.uvi.edu.
Reminder: UVI Libraries will observe reduced operating hours during Summer II as follows:
Closed on Saturdays, beginning Saturday, June 25th
Open on Sundays, 3:00pm – 8:00pm, beginning Sunday, June 26th
The help desk voice mail at ext.1466 and email will be monitored during the holiday. If a technology emergency occurs please leave us a message and an ITS technician will follow up. If you have any questions, please contact us at the Help Desk. Enjoy your holiday!
