Technology Update: Audix Restored but service will be intermittent

TECHNOLOGY UPDATE: AUDIX

Greetings UVI Community,

This communication is to inform all users that Audix, our matured voice mail system, continues to experience system failures. The ITS technical support team is aware of the problem and is working to try to keep the system up and running. However, please note that Audix is experiencing both software and hardware failures, resulting in ongoing intermittent service.

Currently, ITS is working on a solution for voice mail services; we will keep the university community abreast of new developments.

If users experience any issues with Audix please report the problems to our ITS helpdesk. You may call ext. 1466 or email us to helpdesk@uvi.edu.

Greetings Colleagues,

Users on the St. Croix campus are currently experiencing technical difficulties accessing Blackboard, Banner/Banweb, Outlook Exchange and other systems. Network Operations is aware of the problem and is working on repairs. We will provide another update before noon today.
