Technology Maintenance Updates:


Please note that, starting at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 13, 2010. Choice will begin the process of upgrading UVI’s Internet circuit to prepare for multiple, redundant connections. This may cause intermittent Internet access as well as slow down in connecting to sites.

Also, Blackboard will be off-line between 9:00 A.M. and 12 midnight on Thursday, May 13th to allow system administrators time to perform maintenance related system backup and restoration procedures. We do not expect the system to be unavailable the entire time, but users will experience intermittent service during this time.

Library Intersessions Hours May 10 thru May 16

Greeting University Community,

This communication is to let you know that the UVI Libraries will observe intersession hours beginning today May 10, 2010 to May 16, 2010. During the intersession period UVI Libraries will operate during the following hours:

Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
Closed: Saturday May 15, 2010 & Sunday, May 16, 2010

Regular hours will resume Monday, May 17, 2010 at 8:00 A.M

Please note all students labs will be closed for maintenance during intersession.
