Technology Update:
Point of Clarification Concerning Installation of Office 2010

Greetings UVI Community,

This emails serves as a point of clarification to a pervious email forwarded regarding the installation of Office 2010.

At the March 31st Academic Technology Committee meeting the committee recommended that the University move forward with the transition from Office 2007 to Office 2010.

The implementation of Office 2010 will begin in the fall 2011. The implementation plan will include training requirements and a schedule for installation. A full deployment schedule will be developed and forwarded to all users before we start installing Office 2010 on any office work station.

If you have any questions regarding this communication please contact Dr. Vineyard at the CETL (Center for Excellence in Technology Learning) at ext. 1214 or email her at cvineya@uvi.edu.
