We have completed the first phase of Blackboard maintenance in preparation for the Fall semester. We have upgraded from Blackboard version 7.3 to Blackboard 8.0. While there are many subtle changes between the two versions, one major change is with the Grade Book feature, now renamed the ‘Grade Center’. The Grade Center incorporates Web 2.0 technology which enables instructors to enter and calculate grades efficiently and effectively.

Maintenance will continue on the Blackboard servers until Friday, August 8th and will require frequent server restarts. Blackboard will be unavailable or will have sporadic service during this time.
